Online LIVE Synchronous eLearning Offers the Benefits of Classroom Instruction Via the Internet


BUFFALO, New York, May 3, 2005 - New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEWH), the world's largest independent IT training provider, today announced that it has become the first completely virtual Microsoft Gold Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (CPLS). Gold Certification, the highest level that a Microsoft solution partner can attain, is a testament to the growing reputation for the high quality of synchronous eLearning that New Horizons Online LIVE delivers.

To date over 10,000 students have attended Online LIVE classes, many of them to take advantage of the broad range of Microsoft offerings ranging from Applications to Networking to Developer training. New Horizons Online LIVE instructors are qualified Microsoft Certified Trainers and hold multiple Microsoft technical certifications including, among others, MCSE, MSDBA, and MCSD.

In addition to receiving expert instruction from Online LIVE's highly qualified and experienced instructors, many of the Microsoft offerings include live hands-on labs where a student is given access to a server to practice on while the instructor shadows them Ð ensuring that the student learns real-world skills to take back to the workplace or to demonstrate to potential employers.
