BUFFALO, New York, March 15, 2005 - New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEWH), the world's largest independent IT training provider, today announced it has been selected as a finalist for the Twelfth Annual High-Tech awards hosted by the AeA Orange County Council. AeA is the nation's largest high-tech trade association. The High-Tech Awards honor outstanding local technology companies and acknowledge individual contributions to the local high-tech business community.

New Horizons was named a finalist in the Innovative Product/ Technology category for its Online LIVE Learning offering. Online LIVE provides instructor-led training for remote students eliminating the need to travel for classes while still delivering student/instructor interactivity through live voice communications. It offers flexible learning solutions and the ability to track performance. Online LIVE includes training for: Microsoft Technologies, Cisco, Oracle, Citrix, Linux, Information Security, Business Skills and Medical Billing and Coding. Many of these offerings include hands-on labs where a student is given access to a server to practice on while the instructor shadows them - a valuable addition to the learning experience.
